  • Do I need to have a doctor's note for my radiology exam?

    Yes.  A written order from a physician, written on either a physicians' prescription form or a Larchmont script, is acceptable. There is pertinent information on the order assuring that we perform the procedure your physician has requested.

  • What is best way to arrange for film/report pick up?

    We would be happy to have your images/films or reports available for pick up at any of our locations. For best service, please allow 48-72 hours advance notice to retrieve and prepare your records. Call our medical records department at 609-261-4500 x1253 or press 3.

    Please note that, due to privacy laws, ID will be required at time of pick up. Authorization will be needed if we will be releasing information to someone other than the patient.

  • When will my ordering provider get the results of my exam?

    Your exam is typically read the same day, however if anything urgent or emergent is determined then your ordering provider will be called.  Otherwise they will receive the actual report within a day to several days, depending on how their practice manages results from various testing facilities.

  • What number do I call to schedule an appointment?

    609-261-4500, option 1.  Our centralized scheduling department can be reached Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can speak with a scheduler or leave a voice mail requesting a return call.

  • What information do I need to make an appointment?

    • Patient name and date of birth
    • Exam to be scheduled
    • Reason for exam
    • Physician ordering the exam
    • Insurance plan, name, ID number and preauthorization number, if required

  • I need to schedule an ultrasound biopsy (breast or thyroid). What number do I call?

    You can call our main number at 609-261-4500 and dial extension 1257 or 1259.

  • At which Larchmont Medical Imaging location can I have my exam performed?

    Many exams are performed at all of our imaging centers. However, there are some procedures that need to be scheduled at a specific location. Our schedulers will assist you in selecting the most convenient location. We do offer evening and weekend hours for most exams.

  • Can I bring children to my imaging appointment?

    All imaging procedures require that only the patient remain in the room during the exam. Because the patient requires our full attention, we cannot provide supervision for any accompanying children. If you must bring your children, please arrange for another adult to care for your children during your procedure.

  • What are your hours of operation?

    Our hours vary by site based on type of exam. Most imaging centers are open for various types of procedures days, evenings, and weekends.

  • How do I report a compliment/complaint/concern regarding service?

  • How do I find out if you are modifying your business hours during inclement weather?

    We will modify our phone greeting with specific details at all of our office locations if weather forces us to change our normal business hours.

  • Do all modalities require an appointment?

    It is best to schedule an appointment in advance of your exam, but same day appointments are frequently available.
